The Big Loop

Last night, I went around my big loop, 7.79 miles, and all felt really good. In fact, since I was using my "sports" headphones, it was hard for me to hear my beep-beep for my 4:1 intervals, and after mile 4 or so, I just kept running. It felt really good, and I didn't really want to stop. Overall, my time was 10:44, which is pretty good. Unfortunately, the race predictor put my marathon in at 5:02 even given that pace.

Went to the Sports Basement in the city, but got a bit lost by the Golden Gate Bridge. Ended up there about an hour after they left. The good news is that they have tri bikes and I saw the Felt S22. Even though I don't plan on getting a new one, it was good to see. And now I know they have a store right down the road in Walnut Creek. I can go look there, too. Says they have a great triathlon selection.
Thinking about my race plan for Sunday's Napa to Sonoma. Should post tomorrow.
