We (Sean from work and I) got into town about 6:30, and the shuttle driver picked us up. The couple that rode with us heard me say "Oh, there's a liquor store," and long story short, the shuttle driver stopped and we added to the local economy. Let the good times roll.
Oh, wait, we have this little half marathon thing to do first.
The room we got is amazing. There is a living room and three bedrooms - even though we only needed two - and two bathrooms covered in marble. Flat panel TV, wireless internet; I'm loving it.
We went into town for the get together, but we were too late. We missed packet pickup tonight too, but knew we would, so it's off to the starting line at 7:30 to get it.
I am excited and anxious. My race plan : muscle it out. Training at sea level for a race at 6,000 feet? I am sure the results will kick me in the ass. Aw, well, whatchagunnado?
