2 boys and a girl

So, I am running along, minding my own business, when I think I may have witnessed mallard duck sexual abuse.  Or, it might be there thing.  I'm not so sure, but the girl mallard didn't seem to interested as the two boys chased her around, poking their bills into her back.  She was quacking what I would interpret as the duck version of "no! no!"  I will now have to live with the guilt of turning a blind eye to the crime.  Next on CSI:Mallard Victims Unit.

Listened to This American Life on my 4.5 mile run tonight.  Was just "eh," but one funny act about a phonecall to the 14th Century from Kasper Hauser, a comedy troupe I think out od San Francisco.  Game show parody where three contestants get one call back to the 14th century to impart the most useful information from the future.  Some advice for the past: "A fish walked out the water, he could talk, that means there is no god" and "Don't throw away the middle of the donut, you can sell it." Funny stuff.  

Struggled with even a 3:1 run:walk split tonight.  Hit it most of the time, but still ended up at 13 min miles.  Working on it. 

Switched to eating high protein, low carb foods, except for a bit of Phish Food ice cream after my run.  Gawd, I love that stuff.  Other than that, I stuck with low carb foods all day.

Looking forward to getting a personal trainer starting tomorrow at the gym at the office.  Planning that on running off days, to work upper body and to start the bike training on the stationary bike.  

Kinda tired right now, so going to hit the hay!  hehe.. i have no idea what that means.
