So I just completed my second 8 mile run for the week. It felt pretty good, and I might be starting to see some of the weight come off a bit faster than it has been. I have been trying the ELMO method I heard about in Runner's World magazine.
(<-- Not THAT Elmo!)
Eat Less More Often. 5 to 6 meals a day. 100 - 300 calories at a time. All from my approved food list. Mix of protien and good carbs. And definitely getting breakfast in helps a lot.
I have been feeling a bit of tightness in my righ calf again, but I stretched it out as good as I could before going out tonight, and it seemed fine. Now my left tibialis anterior is tender and my left big toenail attacked the toe next to it.
I've got 4 miles slated for tomorrow, and I really want to do it, but not sure if I should. Will I put my 16 mile at risk? Hope not.
I think I may have missed my chance to get into the Napa to Sonoma marathon. I was called off the waiting list, but I may have missed the deadline. Ut oh. And I have not signed up for the Avenue of the Vines yet. Wow I am a slacker. I will work through it tomorrow. Yey!
