This last week has been a lighter week, ending in a 7 miler on Sunday. Was a nice relaxing run, and with 8 1/2 miles for the week logged, I found it to be very easy. Cruising around the Berkeley Marina.
I have now joined the 12:00 min per mile group (Go Salazars!) since I have been consistantly at 10:50 - 11:25 on the lower miles. In order to go sub-five-hours, I need to hit less than 11:27. That's the goal, and it will be tough!
Today, on the stationary bike, I upped my time to 13 minutes; just a minute increase. My legs felt really strong, and I was happy to be able to move through it.
We're building up to 16 miles this Sunday. I'm going to do 8 on Tuesday and Thursday, and 4 on Friday.
